The Finnish group play neoclassical versions of rampaging Metallica songs
Epic Finnish symphonic group Apocalyptica are the world-famous stringed band adopting the most intense metal songs and giving them a neoclassical twist.
Originally a classical-style Metallica tribute act, Apocalyptica return to their original inspiration for the Plays Metallica Vol. 2 Tour in autumn. This continues a journey that began in 1996 and sees the classically minded dynamos return to their roots following countless shows performing radically re-worked versions of such heavy metal greats as Faith No More, Sepultura, and Pantera.

The brand-new summer shows kick off with indie greats Razorlight
Live At The Hall is a brand-new series of summer music events held at the stunning Elizabethan grounds of Wollaton Hall in Nottingham. Razorlight have been announced as the first headliner of the exciting day festival. Support comes from many more great bands, including Welsh rock trio Feeder, The Pigeon Detectives and The Sherlocks making it an awesome day out for music lovers.
Led by Johnny Borrell, Razorlight became leading lights in 00s indie thanks to such radio-friendly tracks as "Golden Touch", "In The Morning" and No. 1 single "America". Their huge anthems rocketed albums Up All Night and Razorlight to multi-platinum sales. Razorlight released their Razorwhat? The Best Of Razorlight compilation album in 2020.

Beverley Knight and Ronan Keating have been announced as the latest headliners
Soul sensation Beverley Knight and mega popstar Ronan Keating have just been announced as headline acts for Kew The Music! The series of outdoor summer concerts at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew features the best in rock and pop, with further headline acts including such as Richard Ashcroft, Passenger, Mika and JLS plus An Evening in Conversation with Monty Don.
Beverley Knight is best known for hit singles "Get Up!", "Greatest Day", "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" and "Keep This Fire Burning". The British soul star has scored three gold selling records and nominated for two Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Actress in a Musical after appearing in Memphis and The Drifters Girl.
Following his days in best-selling Irish boyband Boyzone, Ronan Keating has gone on to enjoy a wildly successful solo career selling a staggering 20 million records worldwide. His greatest hits include "When You Say Nothing At All" and "Life Is a Rollercoaster".

The Libertines
The likely lads announce shows to showcase new album All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade
The Libertines were the bad boys of the garage rock revival of the 00s and hailed as the saviours of rock ‘n’ roll by the NME. Their ramshackle anthems "Can't Stand Me Now" and "Don't Look Back into the Sun" elevated them to indie icon status.
Led by enigmatic poet Peter Doherty and stylish songwriter Carl Barat, the band was characterised by their tumultuous relationship akin to a chaotic love affair which eventually tore the group apart amidst a constant furore of spats and scandals.
The pair reconciled and reformed The Libertines a decade later. Following a short tour of tiny venues, the tearaways prepare to release new record All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade which they show off at newly announced headline shows.

The Postal Service + Death Cab For Cutie
Two US indie greats unite for an unmissable double headline show at Utilita Arena Cardiff
The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie team up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the two seminal albums Give Up and Transatlanticism. Both bands will be playing their respective records in full making it a major musical event for true fans.
Give Up by The Postal Service is the acclaimed band’s only studio album and was first released in 2003. It saw Death Cab For Cutie songwriter Ben Gibbard team up with Jimmy Tamborello to explore ambient indie-electronica, including their huge anthem “Such Great Heights”. Give Up was both critically acclaimed and a massive commercial successful reaching platinum sales.
Emo-tinged indie-rockers Death Cab For Cutie were on the cusp of splitting before recording celebrated LP Transatlanticism. The concept album centred around a long-distance romance captures the feelings of separation felt by each band member, and the emotionally charged songs have made it a hardcore fan favourite.
