TUSKS – ‘Mind’ (BABii Remix)

Earlier in the year, Emily Underhill AKA electronica musician Tusks released her stunning album ‘Avalanche’ which included her haunting yet energetic single ‘Mind’. Having handed the stems over to producer BABii, they both now drop this killer new remix.

Tusks plays Louisiana at Bristol and Village Underground in London next month, grab your tickets with Gigantic right now!

Tusks tickets are currently available.

HANNAH DIAMOND – ‘Love Goes On

Love Goes On’ is the latest offering from rising alt popstar Hannah Diamond. The release of ‘Love Goes On’ follows the heartache expressed on previous single ‘Invisible’, both of which will be heard on her eagerly awaited debut album.

‘Love Goes On’ for me is a continuation song to ‘Invisible’, it’s set in the same realm but things are beginning to become more hopeful. Part of me is still waiting for him to call me but the other part of me is starting to realise that the love I felt was always inside of me. And that even though it’s over, love goes on.

Hannah Diamond has added an extra night at London Fire next month due to popular demand.

Hannah Diamond tickets are currently available.

NADA SURF – ‘Something I Should Do

Indie rockers Nada Surf have dropped their band new song ‘Something I Should Do’ which details a day wandering around their home city of New York. The lead single will feature on their ninth studio album ‘Never Not Together’ which is scheduled for release on Friday 7th of February. It was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales which famed for having been the birthplace of such classic albums as Oasis’ ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’, The Charlatans ‘Tellin' Stories’ and Queen put ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ on tape which gives a hint at the pedigree we can expect next year.

"I've been seeing the name on albums for so long. It's a working farm, and the founder/owner, Kingsley Ward, would come in and tell us stories when he wasn't farming. I'd walk into town every morning and listen to the sheep talking as I walked by them." – Matthew Caws

Nada Surf tickets are currently available.

Albums

PUMAROSA – ‘Devastation

Fans of Pumarosa are overjoyed for the release their sophomore album ‘Devastation’. Pursuing a sound they call “industrial spiritual”, the London based band have forgone the guitar centric style of their previous work and instead taken a truly soulful approach to electronica. The bold experimentation certainly works, thanks in part to St Vincent producer John Congleton with whom they recorded with in LA plus Tool bassist Justin Chancellor.

Grab your copy of ‘Devastation’ on CD, MP3 and orange 180g heavyweight vinyl right now. Plus, Pumarosa have announced a major gig at Bristol’s Thekla taking place on Monday 25th of November 2019. Make sure you are there!

Pumarosa tickets are currently available.

GIRL RAY – ‘Girl

North London indie pop band Girl Ray certainly impressed with their first LP ‘Early Grey’ just two years ago and their follow up offering, simply titled ‘Girl’ shows no sign of difficult second album syndrome as they return with eleven tracks of R&B inspired bliss.

Recorded at Electric Beach Studios in Margate with producer Ash Workman (Metronomy, Christine and the Queens) and released through essential independent label Moshi Moshi, Iris McConnell (drums), Poppy Hankin (guitar/vocals) and Sophie Moss (bass) have been able to create a truly polished record which shines with abundant youthful exuberance and really shows off their prodigious talent. Do not miss them when they tour during February.

Girl Ray tickets are currently available.
