ALBUMS

NIGHTWISH – ‘HUMAN. :II: NATURE.

Symphonic metallers Nightwish certainly don’t do subtle and on their ninth LP ‘HUMAN. :II: NATURE.’, the Finnish sextet take epic to a whole new level as they merge Nordic legends with Bach-eqsue classics song structures and huge face melting lead guitar riffs on this huge double album.

HUMAN. :II: NATURE.’ was recorded as summer darkened and turned to the twilight of autumn over many sessions held at Finnvox Studios, Röskö campsite, Petrax Studios and Troykington castle. Mikko Karmila was charged with the mammoth task of mixing and the record was later tamed and mastered by Mika Jussila.

Out on vital German hard rock label Nuclear Blast Records, ‘HUMAN. :II: NATURE.’ is released as an extremely limited deluxe edition with includes a 3CDS, a 48-page ear book plus a 12” mini-LP. You can also order it on limited 12” and choose from marigold, mirage or bronze vinyl plus CD and MP3.

Nightwish tickets are currently available.

BLADEE – ‘Exeter’

Exeter’ is the third album from Swedish rapper Bladee (AKA Benjamin Reichwald). Known for his abstract lyrical expression which explores the out realms of fantasy and the hazy inner world of a transcendent high, ‘Exeter’ is an imaginative album that floats pleasantly and reeks of dank.

A member of the Drain Gang collective, ‘Exeter’ features contributions from fellow member Ecco2K and produced by Young Gud.

Me and Gud recorded this album during a one week visit to Gotland island this last summer. The inspiration for me was trying to paint and express an inner image or feeling that I have through sound. The album for me is a kind of practice of focus and play in the incorporeal.

Bladee will be appearing at Electric Ballroom in London on Monday 26th of October, tickets on sale with Gigantic right now!

Bladee tickets are currently available.
