TIGER ARMY – ‘Devil That You Don’t Know

Fancy a bit of garage rock? Well here comes Tiger Army with their gnarly new single ‘Devil That You Don’t Know’. With one foot in the past but definitely looking forward, the LA band have ensured they got the authentic sound for the forthcoming album ‘Retrofuture’ by filling the studio with the best vintage gear:

“The gear and instruments are mostly 1950s and ‘60s, but while the tones may be classic, we’ve always tried to push into uncharted territory musically with each release. So, the idea behind this record was to create our version of what someone might imagine future rock ’n’ roll sounding like, but from the perspective of the mid-20th century.”

Tiger Army tickets are currently available.

THE TESKEY BROTHERS – ‘Run Home Slow

Australian blues rock band The Teskey Brothers return with their follow up to their award-winning smash hit debut album ‘Half Mile Harvest’; second LP ‘Run Home Slow’. The fourpiece consists of rothers Josh Teskey (vocals and rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar), plus Brendan Love (bass) and Liam Gough (drums) who have been touring hard even before the release of their first full length record and have poured all their experiences into this second outing.

Containing the heartfelt singles ‘So Caught Up’ and ‘Rain’, it is expected that ‘Run Home Slow’ will be the first UK chart success for the Melbourne troupe by appealing to both the discerning blues fan plus containing enough pop appeal to attract the casual listener.

"We were really aware that we didn’t want to alienate fans. We love our fans and feel really proud of the first album, but the second album needed to be a step up.” – Liam Gough

The Teskey Brothers tickets are currently available.

FEEDER – ‘Tallulah

Pop\rock band Feeder are fighting their way back to the top. After breaking the Top 10 with both their last album ‘All Bright Electric’ less than three years ago and their recently released Best Of compilation, they are now back with brand new LP ‘Tallulah’.

Returning to their punk tinged positive vibe, Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose have succeeded in creating twelve tracks brimming with optimism and full of satisfying chugging guitar chords which takes its musical ques from 90’s America whilst dealing with everyday British experiences.

Described by Maximum Volume as “superbly done” with CLASH impressed by its “infectious combination of hooks, imaginative lyrics and dark verses”, critics agree its an excellent album and the new material is sure to delight their fans alongside their classic hits when they tour in November.
