About Andrew Wasylyk & Tommy Perman

Andrew Wasylyk is the stage name of indie pop and rock songwriter Andrew Mitchell. He leads the band The Hazey Janes and joined alt rockers Idlewild on bass in 2014.

His solo output includes the records Soroky (2015), Themes for Buildings and Spaces (2017), The Paralian (2019), Fugitive Light and Themes of Consolation (2020), Balgay Hill: Moring In Magnolia (2021), Hearing the Water before Seeing the Falls (2022) and Parallel Light (2023).

Lovely evening with blissful tunes

The Blue Lamp was a perfect venue for Andrew Wasylyk & Tommy Perman's music & video performance, intimate & atmospheric, it was a joy to be at. The visuals & music were a real multimedia treat for they eyes & ears. Loved the bass / Beats with that beautiful Undeniably Scottish sound of the piano melodies... lovely.

Next time

Unfortunately I put my back out so didn't make it but individually both Andrew and Tommy who I've seen perform previously, are amoungst The UKs mist talented artists. They both continue to push the boundaries of what art and music is, so I'm sure the gig, like there music was an amazing melange of melodic abstract beauty.. But I wasn't actually there...........
